Been working this week on a bespoke Oak veneer larder unit. Nearly finished, just giving it a couple of coats of Osmo oil in these pictures. (I'm glad it didn't rain today so I could work outside!)
Recently completed this room refurbishment, in an upstairs room in a beautiful period cottage.
the old fireplace needed damp proofing and boxing in, with a new mantelpiece, frame and hearth.
The walls and ceiling had been plastered, but were in need of fresh paint, along with the skirting boards that also needed general repair work.
I am really pleased with the overall result; it will make a wonderful study once the shelves are installed on the wall next to the fireplace.
